The Detroit Fashion Community kicked off the Fall season with a picturesque rooftop networking reception at the stylish I|O Godfrey Rooftop Lounge in the center of one of Detroit’s oldest neighborhoods.

The Detroit Fashion Community’s monthly networking event creates a fashion friendly haven for collaboration and resource sharing. On October 4, The Detroit Fashion Community tapped into the contemporary luxury renaissance happening in Detroit’s fashion industry and the city's rejuvenated charm, hosting its free networking mixer at the stylish I|O Godfrey Rooftop Lounge atop Detroit's Godfrey Hotel, an upscale boutique escape in the center of Corktown, one of Detroit’s oldest neighborhoods.
Fashion professionals from all over Metro Detroit gathered for the first “DFC Connects” event of the Fall season. Panoramic views of Detroit's skyline peaked through The Godfrey’s retractable glass walls and ceilings, providing a sensually sophisticated backdrop complemented by curated sounds from B.Colvin.
With each “DFC Connects” event, the Detroit Fashion community aims to connect fashion professionals, enthusiasts, socialites, influencers, business owners, and corporate leaders to share resources and collaborate to push Detroit’s Fashion Industry to the forefront of the global fashion industry.
