A Match Made In Fashion: The ‘DFC Connects’ Hosts Speed-Networking At Empire Kitchen & Cocktails

The Detroit Fashion Community put a spin on their monthly ‘DFC Connects’ event with a curated speed-networking experience at Empire Kitchen and Cocktails.

The Detroit Fashion Community is Detroit’s fastest growing fashion community. Since the relaunch of the organization earlier this year, the DFC has multiplied its reach, proven with a guest list of over 450 fashion industry professionals from all over Michigan at their monthly ‘DFC Connects’ networking event.

On March 1, 2023 The DFC invited fashion entrepreneurs, socialites, and creatives from metro-Detroit and beyond for a cocktail and speed-networking experience hosted by DFC Director of Events, Kevin Maples. Guests were encouraged to meet other fashion enthusiasts and make a connection in just 5 minutes. The DFC’s third networking event was held at “self-styled” American bistro & cocktail bar, Empire Kitchen and Cocktails, in Detroit’s Brush Park neighborhood. The evening’s soundtrack was provided by Dj Rue while guests enjoyed cocktails and American cuisine from Empire’s signature menu.
