The Detroit Fashion Community is still Detroit’s fastest growing fashion community. In just four short months, the newly relaunched nonprofit organization presented six new Directors and Board Members at the latest networking event! Without further ado, please welcome our new Director of Education - Dana Keaton-Wilson, Event Committee Design Chair - Marian Bickcom, Event Committee Hospitality Chair - Tyree Reed, Marketing Committee Broadcast and Publication Chair - Charde Goins, Finance Committee Admin and Compliance Chair - Crystal Bailey, and Sponsorship Committee Research Chair - Brandon Colvin.

On April 5, 2023 The Detroit Fashion Community gathered with fashion entrepreneurs, socialites, and industry pioneers from the metro-Detroit area for a hybrid nightlife and networking dinner experience at Detroit’s swanky new Resto-Lounge, District Seventy8. Attendees mixed and mingled in a luxury, cocktail atmosphere while DFC Director of Events, Kevin Maples introduced the crowd and the new additions to the board were presented.

“Serial network marketer”, author, and wealth specialist Jewel Tankard of Bravo TV’s hit reality show Thicker Than Water, and Impact Network’s The Jewel Tankard Show was The DFC’s Special guest for the evening, and DJ CrisKeyz curated the sonic vibes for the night.
