Join the DFC Connects Sweet Summer Social Networking Fundraiser
The first Wednesday of every month, the Detroit Fashion Community welcomes all fashion industry professionals, socialites and creatives of metro Detroit to an evening of networking and resource sharing. As always, we want each of our experiences to be unique and slightly different from the last. So this time, we will be hosting a SWEET SUMMER SOCIAL with extended hours: 7pm-12am at Riverside Marina.
The Sweet Summer Social kicks off with mix and mingling of invited guests from the fashion and marina communities. All set at the marina pool and dock with opulent views of on the Detroit River and Canada, guests will experience:
- Decadent summer treats and eats from local mobile vendors
- Swimwear fashion show
- VIP cabanas
- Watercraft experiences*
- Best dressed contest
- Cigars hand rolled to order*
DFC welcomes Mike Todd, the official DJ for the Sweet Summer Social 2023. He is the resident Friday night DJ for club AXXIS at MGM Detroit and has made himself known as "the peoples DJ."
The second half of the evening will kick off with a summer resort/swimwear fashion show over an illuminated pool at 10:00 PM. Guests will party into the night with special invited models and fashion influencers while enjoying a live DJ and ongoing entertainment through midnight.
