Tyrone E. Winfrey Sr. COME HOME Alumni Hall of Fame Gala
Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD) is pleased to announce the dates of the 2nd Annual Graduates Hall of Fame Weekend Gala, May 18 –20, 2023. This year the event was renamed after the late Tyrone E. Winfrey, Sr. who stewarded the inaugural “Come Home” celebration last year. The 2023 honorees will include Tony Award Winner, Marilyn McCormick; Author/Musician/Poet, Jessica Caremoore and Founder and CEO of Fighting the Good Fight, Daryl Woods, Jr. The event will be hosted by WXYZ Anchor and event Co-Chair, Carolyn Clifford. The Huntington National Bank and 98 Forward are significant sponsors of the event.
