Are you passionate about fashion and sustainability? Don’t miss The ReVamp Summer Clothing Swap Festival this Saturday, September 7th, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Detroit Shipping Co. This community-driven event, organized by The ReVamp and partnered with Design Core Detroit, aims to change how we approach fashion by blending sustainability, art, and community service.

“Our goal is to not only change how people think about fashion, but also how they engage with their community,” says Amanda Sweet, Founder and Visionary of The ReVamp. “We want to create a space where people can ReStyle their wardrobe, ReMix their shopping habits, and ReUp their entire lifestyle—all while supporting sustainable practices.”

Participants are invited to bring gently used clothing and accessories to swap with others, refreshing their wardrobe while supporting sustainability. All remaining items will be donated to local shelters and communities in need.

Since its inception, The ReVamp has donated over 13,000 pounds of clothing and continues to inspire Detroit’s creative community. With over 60 events and 12,000 guests, The ReVamp fosters a culture that values sustainability, local art, and positive community impact.
