The Detroit Fashion Community held the first DFC Industry Brunch of the year on Saturday, January 14, 2023. The DFC was joined by Kiara Belen, founder of ‘The Fashion Life Tour’, and America’s Next Top Model Cycle 12 finalist. 

Hosted by its generous sponsors, BLAC Magazine, and offered exclusively as a member benefit, the first DFC Industry Brunch was opened up to local aspiring models, and the University of Michigan Model Club— Enspired Runway. Kiara also sat down with DFC’s Executive Director, Lauren Woodson, for a candid discussion on breaking into the modeling industry and tips for career longevity.
